This issue suggests that the cooktop is having an issue with its' power supply.
We would suggest checking the following:
- the isolation power switch for the cooktop (sometimes located within an adjacent cupboard) is powered on.
- a fuse may have been blown or circuit breaker tripped within your fuse box.
Another option to try is switching the power off to your cooktop for 10-15 minutes and then re-activate the power. This can reset the control board on your cooktop, which may have experienced an issue due to a power outage or fluctuation.
