How do i convert my Elica BIO or Meteorite Rangehood into a recirculating rangehood?

You can convert your Elica BIO or Meteorite rangehood into a recirculating rangehood by purchasing an optional accessory kit- KIT0160440. This is available as a spare part from Residentia Group- please contact the Spare parts division for pricing on email (spares@residentiagroup.com.au) or via phone 1300 11 4357. This accessory kit includes the metal housing for the filter, as well as the Revolution filter.

This accessory kit allows you to convert your rangehood into a recirculating version and from there you can purchase replacement Revolution filters as required.

For replacement Revolution filters, you can order the filter alone using the code CFC0140091.

Attached are two guides, stepping through the conversion process:

FOG0160829- Removing the plastic support which is currently within the Duct-out/Aspirating rangehood. This step needs to be done to allow the installation of the Filter Kit.

FOG0139788- Installation of KIT0160440, converting your rangehood into a Recirculating/Filtered hood.

The Revolution filter should be washed (by hand or by dishwasher) every 2-3 months (depending on how much cooking you do and grease content) and replaced every 3 years.
